In the process of installing NIS 2012. Older computer, Windows XP.
Inserted CD, started running, screen said "removing previous version". It removed it, asked me to restart my computer. I restarted and an error came up that it needed the new software to continue, "please insert software and hit button below". I never took my cd out of the drive. I took cd out, put back in, nothing. Tried my other cd drive, same thing. I go to explore and can't even find my d: or e: drive. Tried various other cd's to see if my drives are working, none of them recognized. It's like while removing the previous verson of Norton, it somehow removed or disabled my cd drives.
Anyone have this problem? How do i fix it?
