Norton DNS blocks Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware auto updates

I just learned that Norton DNS prevents auto updating from taking place with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.

I recently changed from ClearCloud DNS service to Norton DNS service.

Auto-updating of MBAM was happening perfectly while using ClearCloud DNS.

But upon changing to Norton DNS, I immediately noticed that auto-updating MBAM was not happening, and I was getting the error message:

ERROR Scheduled update failed: WinHttpSendRequest failed with error code 12007.

(I went to the test page  http://setup.nortondns.com  to confirm that I was currently using Norton DNS, and my browser worked fine.)

As soon as I replaced the two Norton DNS IP addresses 198.153.192.1 and 198.153.194.1. with ClearCloud DNS addresses, MBAM was once again able to auto-update.

I never saw any kind of a block page from Norton, but that might be because I had the updates scheduled for 3 AM.

Is this simply a matter of reporting a false positive?

I'd like to see it fixed so I can go back to Norton DNS.

Thanks
