Thank you for reply

I am connected with wifi

It looks to me to be set correctly.  Are you testing here?  -  http://setup.nortondns.com/

Maybe you could contact TP-LINK for support.

You could try changing your dns settings on your PC.

These instructions are for Windows 7.

This works for me with Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 x64.

Try this.  You will need to be logged in to Windows with an Administrator Account  -

Control Panel  >  Network and Internet  >  Network and Sharing Center.  Click on the connection type ( If you are connected by cable it will be Local Area Connection.)

Click Properties.  Highlight  Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)

Click Properties.  Toward the bottom click Use the following DNS server address.

You will now have to enter the numbers of the Policy of your choice from https://dns.norton.com/dnsweb/faq.do.

Click OK to finish

I hope this helps.

Please let us know how you get on.

I did every thing you said, but not yet working

I also contacted Mikrotik support, but they said this is norton proplem, any other comments?

and thank you

Quick question;

Have you cold restarted both the modem, router and PC?

Thanks

Yes sure, I did all the settings and restarted my Router, even I restarted all my network but no thing happend.

thanks

You can look here

Question;

Are you logging into the router to make the DNS URL changes?

Since you appear to have set up Windows I'd suggest resetting your router.

Make sure you have your ISP username and password handy.

Most routers have a small hole that you push a straightened paperclip into.

Let us know how you get on.

Dave,
Will that get him to the place he wants to be or is he going to have to go into the router and make the DNS changes there?

I was lazy and just changed the router data and left the PCs on automatic. They are working well

Stay well and surf safe

Hi Dick,

I've set my modem / router as well.  :smileywink:

The OP had already tried setting their router without success.

As you can configure either your PC or your router and it appears the OP has configured their PC I figured the router should be reset so as not to conflict.

Does that sound OK?

Thanks,

Dave

Dave,

It sounds possible I'm just not sure about the differing servers. If the router is using its default it might not honor the PCs request for the Norton server.

I can't be sure as I haven't tried that configuration - router default and PC specific. Always use the reverse.

We'll see

Dick,

I used to do it that way as I couldn't change the modem / router that I purchased from my ISP,  I even had my PS3 set that way, but when I upgraded to a NETGEAR the first thing I did was default the PC's and PS3 to auto then set the NETGEAR.

It worked for me when I visited http://setup.nortondns.com/.

Cheers,

Dave

Dave,

Understood. Never had a modem/router so I haven't experienced that one. We'll just have to wait and see what the results are.

Please, help.
