Downloaded DNS client a little over a month ago. In the last 2 weeks have been receiving "not protected" notifications with increasing frequency. Log shows following messages 1) Unable to query the A record on Norton DNS server 198.153.194.1. This operation returned because the timeout period expired. 2) Unable to query the Norton DNS servers. There may be a connection problem or DNS queries may be hijacked.
Have remained connected with no indication of connection problem.
Upon resuming protection, log shows 1) Resetting DNS servers for Intel R ------- 10/100 Network Connection. 2) Previous servers were Norton DNS.
Am I looking at a significant problem?
