I use the Nvidia Studio Driver for my graphics card, which is the correct and preferred version for my creative workflow. However, Norton Driver Updater consistently flags it as outdated and recommends replacing it with a different version—typically a Game Ready driver.
This behavior is problematic because Studio Drivers are optimized and certified for stability in creative applications, and replacing them can introduce instability or performance issues in my workflow.
PRODUCT SUGGESTION: Update your driver database to differentiate between Studio and Game Ready Nvidia drivers.
@MarshallJ_Holmes Use the drivers from the Nvidia website and ignore using Driver Updater. Norton is most likely detecting your GPU and using it as a general flag to find drivers for that GPU based on performance.
