Norton family can't get to unlock screen - pull down to refresh not working

I have Norton Family installed on my child’s devices with time limits and pin unlock activated. I know that PIN unlock works because I have randomly managed to get to the appropriate screen on the child’s device, but I can’t reliably get to the unlock screen. According to the internet, we need to touch their avatar picture, go to House Rules and then pull down to refresh. I’ve done that repeatedly, but no lock screen appears. Is there a particular number of times we have to do this to get to the PIN screen?

Hi @oroszkj ,
A PIN lets your child unlock their Android device in case of emergencies, even if their time limit has reached. The same Pin is used for Instant Lock.

You do not understand what I am asking. I know what the PIN does. I’ve used the PIN successfully when the random things that I have tried have finally brought me to the screen where I can enter. What I am asking is how do I go directly to the screen where you enter the PIN? I don’t want to waste 30 minutes trying random things every time I need to use in hopes that the right screen will finally open up.

Hi @oroszkj ,

When the device is locked, open the Norton Family app and tap on “More Options” to view the “Unlock Device” menu.

Alternatively, in other apps, when you see the Device Locked screen you can use the “Unlock this device with PIN”

Could you please try these and check if you are able to unlock with PIN.

Thanks,

The Norton Family app opens to Norton Family Browser. If it is after curfew hours, clicking on the menu does bring up the Unlock Device option that you show in the second screen shot. My problem is how to get to this screen when my child exceeds their 2 hour daily limit. When that happens, neither the menu or the More Options link includes the Unlock Device option.
