Norton Family doesn't always load

I've noticed for my daughters account that Norton Family doesn't always load.  Sometimes the icon for Norton Family is missing and sometimes the icon is there but shows a problem such as parent intervention required in which case if I update house rules Family is working again.

 

Any fixes for the above?  Seems like a script after login to update the rules would work. 

 

Also, always get problems with the browser plugin disabled.

Can you please let me know what version of Norton Family you have on the machine.

 

If you are able to reproduce the issue during a remote session, please let me know.

We have version 2.9.5.20 on windows 7.  The problem is intermittent and doesn't reproduce easily.    Looking at the windows logs I don't see any Norton Family entries.

 

Tonight my daughter received a notice that her time was up but I extended the time until 7:45 PM ( slightly over 15 mintues).   However, 30 minutes later she still was on and received no notice to logoff.  I did not see any log entries showing I extended the time nor any errors in the logs at 7:45 pm.

 

Is there any log files to track software issues?

When you extend time for the child next time, can you please click on the Norton Family icon in the system tray and select "View Time Remaining" to see how many minutes left, does it match with the time you extended?

I'm suprised there are no logs to track this activity.  I did find some dump files.
