Norton Family is currently giving a 60 second warning when time is set to expire. Is there a way to customize this? My son is often gaming and 60 seconds isn’t enough of a warning. He isn’t wanting to set audible alarms on another device because he is usually streaming and don’t want the noises in the video.
Hi Kimberly_Brown,
Thanks for reaching Norton Family forums.
Currently, we do not have the option to customize the warning time limit. We will forward this request to our Product Management Team.
However, when the time allowance approaches expiration, the child will receive notifications within the 15-minute window before time runs out. Once the allowance has fully expired, the child will receive one-minute countdown alerts thrice to save any unsaved work.
Thanks,
Norton Family team
Unfortunately, we are not seeing a 15 minute warning so all he is getting is the 60 second count down. Can you advise if the 15 minute warning is a setting and how to ensure it shows up? I tested this myself on his computer/account yesterday to confirm.
Apologies for the delayed response. We encountered some issues while attaching the reference image.
Could you please confirm by using the child’s machine until the time allowance expires? Norton Family automatically provides notifications within the 15-minute window before time runs out.
Attached a sample notification below for your reference:
If these notifications are not appearing, could you kindly share a recording of the issue?
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Thanks,
Norton Family team
