Norton Family Upgrade... More issues

Like many others in the forums, my attempts to upgrade from Norton Safety Minder to Norton Family (free) were unsuccessful due to the 'server unavailable' type messages.  I have since received email updates from Norton stipulating that the issues have been resolved and to download the latest version.  I have since installed, removed, installed, removed for a total of 5 cycles in an attempt to get the software functioning.

At this time, I have two overarching issues that might (or might not) be related on a Mac Mini with Bootcamp for Windows 7 SP1 (will also install onto OSX when these issues are resolved).  They are as follows:

1. When attempting to right-click on the icon within the system tray and selecting 'Edit Accounts' from popup, I am prompted to login.  Upon successful login, I am presented with the application as expected but any attempts to 'Finish' relaunch a login window where I enter the same credentials used originally.  Clicking the Ok button closes the window but immediately another login window is presented.

2. More importantly that the issue above, NONE of the 'House Rules' appear to have been retrieved from the Norton servers.  Execution of 'Update House Rules' by again right-clicking on the icon within the system tray executes and after a few seconds, a popup stating that the rules have been updated is seen.  Any subsequent attempt to 'View My House Rules' displays a window with nothing below the 'These rules are for' caption.

I've been a user of the previous Safety Minder product for years (both on Windows and OSX) - and an really concerned with the apparent quality degradation within this latest version.
