Hi,
I'm think of signing up to EE's home phoneline and broadband service (in the UK), which includes Norton Family for parental controls. But I'm getting well confused .
EE customer service tell me that the parental control software is installed on the router, and will work fine with the wired connection to my linux PC and with wireless connections to android tablets etc.
But looking through the Norton website I'm getting the impression that Norton Family must be installed on each device separately, so is not installed on the router, and also it will not work for the linux PC (anyway linux isn't listed in the supported OS's).
Which is right? Are EE talking xxx to sell a product, or have I misunderstood the Norton website?
Many thanks!
