Norton Firewall Block screen sharing

Detailed description:
Norton updated automically to the newest version of Norton 360 on 15 December 2024 and after the update I tried several times to connect to my tv screen but the computer is unable to connect. I can connect only when I disable Norton firewall from settings. Does any one has any solution to this.

Please try to turn off Norton Auto-Protect and Firewall and see if the issue was fixed or not. I see multiple complaints about this issue across the web.

I think I found the solution. Add a firewall port unblock for TCP port 7236 IN (“Out” shouldn’t be needed). Let us know if this works.
