I have a very old version of Norton Ghost - Norton Ghost 10.0 Version: 10.0.3.20387
I am running Windows XP Professional 32Bit SP3.
Since the latest version is 15.0 something, I am curious to know if I can upgrade to the latest version for free. - Much like how you can go from NIS 2009 - 2010 if you have a subscription.
What are the benefits of upgrading? My assumption is that from version 10-15 numerous improvements would have been made making Ghost faster/easier to use.
I purchased Ghost quite a few years ago so don't remember where the product key would be, but any help would be appreciated.

Norton Ghost is not a subscription based service to you cannot go from one version to another for free.
However, Symantec offers upgrade pricing for all current customers so you can get Ghost 15 from the Symantec store for $49.99. Be sure to click on the Upgrade link at the top for the discount price.
You can probably also find a better deal from online retailers or in local stores if you want to shop around.
Ghost 15 is much improved over Ghost 10. Just some of the highlights:
You can now do COLD image backups - e.g., from the Ghost recovery CD.
Better VMware support.
Support for Blu-Ray drives.
Threatcon integration whereby you can configure Ghost to do an automatic backup when the threatcon reaches a certain level.
You can see more features from the previous link to the Symantec store.
