I have an incremental backup set up and at several parts of the set up process, vprosvc.exe runs at 99% cpu usage and does so for 15 minutes before reducing to below 5%. For example, when I set up the incremental backup and get to the final screen and press finish, this happens.
If I close norton ghost and then open it again, vprosvc.exe again runs at 99% cpu usage and does so for about 15 minutes.
When I reboot my computer, vprosvc.exe again runs at 99% cpu usage during the startup process and does so for about 15 minutes.
