I use an external USB drive as the destination of my backups. I would like to take away the drive when the backup is done (for safety).
However, after I have installed ghost 14, i cannot safely remove my usb external drive anymore. If i try to remove (unmount) the device using the tray icon, it says that the "generic volume" cannot be removed.
After some investigation, I have found that there is a process called VProSvc.exe (belonging to norton ghost) that is looking for changes to the drive. I think that is the offender.
Is there any way to tell ghost to let the drive be unmounted?
(I fear data loss if i simply unplug it, due to buffers not flushed etc.).
thanks
