Hi,
after having an error with Norton Internet Security 2012 (error 8504,107) it was recommended to use the removal tool. After having done all Norton product were deinstlled. Reinstlled first NIS2012, then NU 15.0 trial. Now installing the CD-version of NGH15.0 Everything there was the error:
after pressing OK, the installation was rewinded and nothing was installed.
Anybody having a clue what is going on.
History of the first installtion: windows vista with NGH 14.0 and 14.5
upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate
upgrade to NGH 15.0
Up till now everything ran fine. Having Norton already for years (lost count but should be at least 20 years), everything ran fine. Some product had a lifetime out, but there was a replacement in time. Even my Norton Systemworks Premier ran under Win 7 up till now.
So if anybody could help me, I would be very happy.

Steps token: 1. cold restart
2. installing NGH 15.0.1 (link provided)
It is nice to see an English NGH version giving German comments. But as I am accustomed to English OS there is no problem.
