Norton Ghost 15 and Windows 8.1 Upgrade Assistant

I am a long time user of Norton Ghost 15.  In prevous postings I have seen that it is not compatible with Windows 8.  However, now that Windows 8.1 has been released, I ran Windows 8.1 Upgrade Assistant and it reports that Norton Ghost 15 is, in fact, compatible with Windows 8.1.

I know that Ghost 15 is no longer being sold commercially.  However, I am planning on executing the upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8, and then to 8.1 next week, and I plan on reinstalling Norton Ghost 15 after the upgrade.

Will Norton Ghost 15 run OK in Windows 8.1?

Thanks

I would bet that you will not be able to enter your license key to activate Ghost. You may want to consider moving on to SSR 2013.

I agree with Red having tested both, G15 will NOT work with Win8.1 full stop.
