After alot of frsutration, I gave up using the clone feature for ghost 15 in win 7. The machine wouldnt boot.
So I created a one off backup (selecting boot checked, and leaving the drive letter blank etc.), and then restore to the new SSD that way. I booted the machine with the win7 recovery disk and then let it do the boot repair.
I was then presented with two boot options for "windows 7 (recovered)". Selecting the second option allowed me to boot from the new drive. I then went into mscfg and removed the option that was pointing to my old drive.
I wish it was a bit clearer, though ultimately I would not recommend using the clone disk function for windows 7 if you are using Ghost 15.
