Norton Ghost 15 Cold Recovery Error EA730001

i use norton ghost 15 recovery cd to backup my computer to a file (cold backup), complete and good.

then i try to use the image file to recover my computer.

everything looks good. however, at the end of recovery my computer wizard, already 100%, but still said "copying volume data over existing volume", it asks for "please insert the recovery disk". however, the recovery cd is right in the cdrom.

click cancel, get "error ea730002: cannot find the driver database directory"

how to fix it!!

After unscessufully trying the Ghost 15 disk and creating the SRD to finish the recvoery, I click "Cancel" and the PC would reboot to a blank screen with only a blinking cursor in the uppor left corner.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?!

Are you restoring to the same computer? Are partitions changed or something? There's a long thread HERE about that bug. I've stated what I think the problem is HERE. To prevent Restore Anywhere from being triggered, you need to ask  erik_carlstrom for the Ghost 14 SRD. It does not have that bug.

I have been having this problem since release, and find that my patience is starting to wear rather thin. I can't find a way to PM Erik and several threads on the "Please insert the Recovery Disk" have had replies turned off, so I can't even easily join the "me too" hubbub in one nice orderly thread.

Symantec - when are you going to fix this problem??? Please?
