I have an older Dell computer with a 30GB hard drive(C) that I am trying to copy to a petitioned 300GB drive. I have partitioned it to use only 100GB. I put it into the D drive (slave drive) slot. I am using the Copy a Drive option in Norton Ghost 15. I am running Windows XP with Office 2007. I have tried two different options (1) Set drive active (for booting OS) and (2) Copy MBR, both appear to operate properly , although it only takes about 30 minutes to complete, about 25 GB of data, when I re-identify the new drive as the Master and insert it, turn on the computer I see the Boot Bios window, WindowsXP window with the progress bar, it completes but then I get the WINDOWs XP window that should say LOADING, It just says Windows XP and nothing about loading, it just sits there forever. I have retried this a number of times with the same results. The copy operation said it completed successfully. Any Ideas?
