Norton Ghost has been discontinued

[Update: Updated announcement with Norton Ghost & Windows 10 compatibility info on 31-July-2015]

Dear Norton Community,

On April 30th, 2013, Norton Ghost was discontinued and is no longer available for sale. This board is where you can discuss Ghost issues and find more information about Norton Ghost end of life.

Norton Ghost has had a very loyal following for many years; so why did we discontinue it? Over the years, key Norton Ghost features such as backup and recovery have been built into other Norton products. Because of this, Symantec does not have a Windows 8 & Windows 10 compatible version of Norton Ghost. Attempting to install or use Norton Ghost on Windows 8 & Windows 10 may result in unexpected results, such as incomplete imaging, Licensing issues. Norton Ghost continues to be fully compatible with the Windows XP (SP3), Windows Vista, and Windows 7 platforms.

Should you still need a full disk imaging solution for your Windows 8 PC, we recommend an alternative and more powerful Symantec solution, popular with small and large organizations alike, Symantec Ghost Solution Suite product for Small Business: http://buy.symantec.com/estore/clp/productdetails/pk/ghost-solution-suite

If you have more questions about the Symantec Ghost Solution Suite or its compatibility with Windows 10 - Please visit the Symantec Connect forum

We’d like to invite you as a valued Norton Ghost user to share your favorite Ghost story with us by creating a new topic in this board. Thank you for all your loyalty and support during the past 15 years.
