A temporary fix, for my FF extension, 'adguard adblocker' CONNECTION FAILURE.
I've a 32-bit machine with the FF extensions updated to current, OK.
So, I've copied & pasted the 'dot'.XPI file from my 32-bit machine, to my 64-bit machine.
Checked for FF extension updates. 'No Updates Found'.
Adguard Adblocker version 2.9.2.OK.
Everything in FF 64, working fine. JOB DONE ! "It's That Man Again." The SinecoalCirph4.AK.
p.s I suspect the CONNECTION FAILURE' issue is with FF Quantum 64, not 'Norton Connectsafe DNS' ?
From now on, are all updates via Norton LiveUpdate?
Not for browser extensions like Norton Toolbar and Norton ID Safe. They are only available from the respective browser's add on store. photo308 and 00360 Are you also using Norton ConnectSafe DNS settings?
ITMA.
I use 'Norton ConnectSafe DNS ¦ Policy 1' & 'Norton Safe Web'.
I have no use for 'Norton Safe Search' & 'Norton Identity Safe'. "It's That Man Again." The SinecoalCirph4.AK

W7 64-bit ¦ FF 59.0.2. ConnectSafe Policy 1 ¦ Adguard ¦ Privacy Badger ¦ HTTPS Everywhere [EFF].
Since the Norton upgrade to 22.14.0.54, Firefox Extensions will not update from the FF add-ons site: CONNECTION FAILURE.
The FF Extensions, that can be updated from their individual websites are fine.
ADGUARD appears to be only available from the FF add-ons site: CONNECTION FAILURE.
The certificate indicates exclusively, 'search.dnsadvantage.com', nobody else.
Alternative ADD-BLOCKERS, from the FF add-ons site, solicit the same: CONNECTION FAILURE. "It's That Man Again." The SinecoalCirph4.AK.
