I had to uninstall and reinstall Norton 360 v4 recently. Everything works great except I am prompted to log in to Identity Safe every time I start my system. I initially selected "No Password needed. Automatically log me in when Windows is started"
That is still the setting I see in the Password & Security window. How do I get the No Password setting to work without loosing all my saved logins?
1. Change the password security level to any other option in the Password & Security window. Say. "Ask for my password at the beginning of each login session"
2. Reboot the machine
3. Change back the security level to your desired option "No Password needed. Automatically log me in when Windows is started"
Don't trust Norton. Identity Safe does not work with IE 64 bit. They don't tell you this anywhere nor do they care at all. I just spent hours with support and they called me back 4 times but finally said it wouldn't work and they don't care that they advertise it incorrectly. This is a quote: "We are compatible with Windows 7 64 bit. We are not compatible with Internet Explorer 64 bit that comes with Windows 7." We have all been ripped off by Norton.
