I bought a new computer with McAfee. Once trial is over would like to install Norton's. Any tips on what I need to do to remove McAfee? Of course I will uninstall.

I'm not totally sure of what you are asking. Just uninstalling from Windows control panel or Apps settings does not remove all files and registry entries. Some files are retained in case you wish to reinstall the same product. But even these remnants can cause issues if you install another security product. Using the removal tool for the appropriate product removes these remnants.
Thanks. It is just not M, N does same. You would think the uninstall would do same thing, So I assume I ignore uninstall.

It is best to fully uninstall using the McAfee Consumer Product Removal tool (MCPR). Then restart your computer before trying to install your Norton product.
