Yes, according to Symantec's web site you can install and activate NIS on 3 PC's. Use the same copy of NIS you have on your PC or download another copy and use your key to activate the program.
Did you Buy the three-user N.I.S. or the five-user?
Thanks for the replies guys.
I upgraded from a previous version of Norton that I had bought in PC World. I downloaded this upgraded version from the Norton website. It is the 3 user version. So, if I access the Norton website from my second PC I should be able to download a copy of the software onto the PC usung the access key............I will give it a go in the next few days.
Thanks again for your help.

From "PCWorld" I'm sure you mean the UK store and not the US magazine!
Just make sure, if you are using WIndows localized for the UK that you download the copy of NIS from the UK site of Symanatec. Some people have run into compatibility problems when trying to use a version downloaded from the US Symantec site on Windows localized for elsewhere.
Was the purchased copy from PCWorld a single user or a 3 user version? It should say on the box.
Note also that when you upgrade I believe that what you get may depend on what you upgrade from and how you do it -- there can be a difference between downloading from the Symantec website and applying the download to a purchased retail copy and buying an upgrade from Symantec's website or buying a subscription from Symantec itself.
It's complicated so if you end up with not getting what you need post a message here and one of the Norton Staffers -- names in red -- can point you in the right direction.
Thanks again to everyone for their help. I have now managed to load the software on a second PC in my house. I just had to log into the Symantec website, click on a link, download a program, then load the program followed by inputting a key code.......sorted!
Thanks again, Paul
