A friend of mine gave me one of her old PCs. When I received it, it had NIS 2010 on it. I removed it, rebooted, and used the Norton Removal Tool to remove any other files not removed by the NIS uninstaller. I have a Norton IS license for up to 3 PCs. When I downloaded NIS from download.com and installed it, the number of days remaining on the subscription was still on my friend's license. How can I remove their license from the PC so that I can enter mine? Currently, I have NIS on one of my PCs running Windows 7 Home Premium and have 2 licenses left to use.
