I have norton internet security 2010. It has been working fine since i bought it a few weeks ago. i then downloaded mozilla firefox ( i always used internet explorer before) and now the internet security doesnt open. when i click on it, a page opens with a blank grey screen.
I have tried restarting NIS and my computer but that doesnt make a difference. i want to keep using firefox as i prefer it to explorer but i dont know how to get NIS working again without deleting firefox.
ideas?!??...
Go to services console (Click Start > Run, in the Run dialogue box, type services.msc and then click OK). Then restart the Norton Internet Security service.
If that does not work, run Norton Removal Tool and then reinstall the Norton product.

You can reinstall Norton Internet Security 2010 from http://www.norton.com/nis10

Did you use another security product before NIS? Did you run a complete removal for this product?
Maybe the leftovers form that old product are bothering your system now.
