Norton Internet Security doesn't detect Zlob.DNS Changer

I have Norton Internet Security V15.0.0.60 installed with automatic updates and a current subscription.

When I select a link from google search sometimes I am re-directed to sites like shopica.com.

From some quick web searches it seems I have the Zlob.DNS Changer Trojan on my computer.

I ran a full scan with the norton software, in  safe mode,   I have installed and nothing was found.

When I run free SpyNoMore software it tells me I have the  Zlob.DNS Changer Trojan on my computer.

I tried the live chat provided by Norton and after a few minutes they told me the service I required would cost additional money.

They did send some instructions on how to remove the malware manually but the items they told me to remove from the cetral registry were not present. So that did not work.  It looks like a bogus codec was installed.

So I have a few questions:

Is this problem beyond the technical capabilities the the Norton/Symantec team?

If not, can they (or someone on this board) provide a solution?

Why isn't the Norton full scan detecting this problem ?

I started looking at other software pacakges but then I thought why should I do that if I am paying for internet security from Norton?

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks.
