I purchased Norton Internet Security. Can I activate it on a second machine? Please tell me I don't have to purchase a second copy for full price. Thank you.
Hi Gabor,
If you purchased the 3 user license you can install it on up to 3 diferent systems for the original price.
You can click on Account, sign-in and it will tell you how many Licensed Installs you have made and how many are Available.
Hi Gabor:
Please log into your Norton Account by clicking the Account link in your main NIS window. You can also reach your account at www.mynortonaccount.com. From there, you should be able to see the number of installs you have left on your subscription. If you still have available installs, you will need your Product Key to activate the installations on your other PCs.
You should also be able to confirm if you purchased a 1-PC or 3-PC licence for your subscription from your main NIS window at Support | Subscription Status.
If you have a 1-PC licence and purchased a new PC (or want to transfer NIS to another PC in your household), you can remove NIS from your old PC and install it on your new PC, but you will have to contact Norton Customer Support here and ask them to issue a new Product Key so that you can activate your subscription on the second PC. They will inactivate your old Product Key at the same time.
Edit:
Sorry yank, didn't realize you'd already posted an answer. I'll have to learn to type faster.

Hi, thank you so much for responding. I have 3 licenses indeed. Question: how do I activate a second license on my second machine? Thanks.
Hi Gabor,
You have to sign in to your Norton Account from your second computer and hit the download button. It will download and install the Norton using Norton Download Manager and at the end of the Installation your product will be automatically activated as it has been downloaded from your Norton Account.
Thank you all for your assistance. I successfully activated the product and am all set now. I appreciate your help.

Gabor,
Glad that all is well now. Need a bit of help. Only the author of the thread can indicate that the problem is solved. That would be you. Can you please click on the message that was the most helpful and let the rest of the world know that a) the problem is solved and b) this is the message that helped me the most.
Thanks
