Hello,
My service provider offers NIS Online for free.
I'm not sure what the ONLINE at the end means?
Is it a different version of NIS? does it offer the same protection and features as NIS 2010? or is it a trimmed down version?
Please advice.

Hi zazazii,
Norton Internet Security Online has the same protection and features as the standard product. What differs is how the subscription is handled. An online product is a product where the subscription is delivered and handled by your ISP, either free or for a small fee. You do not have a product key for the online product and if you have any subscription issues with the product you will need to contact you ISP's support instead of Nortons customer service.
For the safety of your system it does not matter if it is an online product or not.
