Norton internet security premium edition

Hi. I'm just wondering with the Norton internet security premium edition that comes with parental control, when you use it on an android phone as one of the 5 devices you can use it on, does the parental control feature come on as one of the features for the phone? Or do I need an additional software for parental control? I'm looking at buying the premium and just want to know if the parental features would be installed on my son's phone as well as I would like to have a feature to block inappropriate sites. I would like to buy the premium edition as I have a couple of windows computers. Thanks in advance

I just installed Norton Family on my Samsung tablet and signed into my Norton Account to register the installation. I then signed into my Norton Account at   https://my.norton.com  to check my Norton Security Premium subscription information. Norton Family was shown as installed and activated on my tablet.

From the Norton support article Renew or Activate Your Norton Family Subscription:

"If you are a Norton Security Premium user, you get Norton Family as part of your Premier subscription and can use it until the subscription expiration date."

Symantec employee Sunil_GA's recent announcement about the Norton Family 4.8.1 Update for Android includes a link to the Norton Family Parental Control app (for Android 4.0.3 and higher) on the Google Play store.

Android users are posting feedback about the recent v4.8.1.11 update in the Norton Family board.

Norton Family Premier is now included with Norton Security Premium.

Hi Johno,

I think Parental Control is an extra paid feature now and isn't included for free.
