Have used Norton Internet Security since 2010 and renewed without problem. Have tried to renew for 2012 and informed that computer not compatable. Have Vista Home basic as in previous years.

Is Vista updated?

The System Requirements state you need Vista with Service Pack 1 or later.

Hi

    You will get this message while installing 2012 versions of NAV/NIS, This can happen because of the lack of Service Pack1/later or If the Norton Installation finds another Security Software in your Computer it will Say Compatability error and gives you an option to uninstall the Other Software.

 

If it is the first case then download and run the Service Pack from here.
