Hi Norton Commnunity !,

 

    Can some one Explain me what is the difefrence between Norton intrusion prevention & Norton intrusion detection. Both should block the intrusion attempts.

 

 Also can you explain me how the norton intrusion detection / prevention technology works, i mean the technical methodology.

 

I am asking this because i have seen Norton detecting Intrusion attempts, which contains some IP address and website address. but i cannot come to a conclusion what / who is trying to intrude???
