My Norton product does not LiveUpdate when I run LiveUpdate. This started to happen sometime yesterday. It worked fine in the morning (after an evening when the Basic Scan would not function the evening before -- that appears to have been resolved by Norton). Last evening, I could not do a successful LiveUpdate and I could not this morning.
I am using the lastest V 21.1.1 of Norton 360 and I tried rebooting after some of the failed updates but nothing seems to work. Is there a problem with definition updating of Norton? Or should I try something else?
This is very frustrating since it's getting to be a weekly thing with my Norton product.
Have you checked your system clock? Are the date, time and time zone correct? Is it possible it is losing time (say over the period of a week) and it is at that time it fails?
