Norton Malware Detection

Okay, I have been having issues with ad audio being played while I’m on Google (for like, one or two seconds. Never an entire ad and always right after I exit a webpage). This has been happening for about three days, but Norton is saying that it detects no problems with my Android. No malware or anything.

Normally, I have total faith in Norton services, but I have no idea what else could be causing the issue aside from malware. I mean, there is no high battery usage or any other signs of things being amiss.

If Norton says there’s no malware, should I trust that?

This sounds like an ad on some web page you are visiting. Norton does not block ads on mobile devices. You could search for and install an ad blocker app stop these ads from loading.
