Under Windows XP SP 3, IE 8, 32-bit running in a VM, there are alot of squares where some text should show, as though I am missing a font or something.
It works fine on two Windows 7 computers. Screen shot below.
Just as a possible parallel -- on my XP SP3 system (real not VM) but starting in NIS 2011 and continuing to 2012 I'm seeing blanks not in NIS, although I've not checked Management as here, but in looking at the forum using IE7 when the Macro titles do not appear although if I click on a blank it will pull up a macro ....
Elsewhere I don't see font names listed in that drop list.
I was wondering when I hit this again yesterday while updating to NIS 2012 whether one of Microsofts Windows Updates had done something -- there've been a few recently fixing bug holes ....
FWIW just to indicate that the problem may not be in NIS or at the Server but maybe in XP / the browser ....
On the upper side of the window there's a language changer. It is possible that the site got a wrong language info and it is trying to show a character set that you windows installation do not have (like japanese, cirillic /russian/, .... etc.).
Please try to change the language, and let us know the results.
