Why is Norton saying I have updates available for Skype, which I no longer have on my computer, and for Windows Media Player? However, when I go to updates for windows Media Player none are available. My Windows Media Player is version 12.0.19041.5607.

Software Updater? If so ignore it and remove that snake oil. Skype is no longer supported by Microsoft, versions older than 8.100 since August 2024.
