Norton Mobile Full Version

I had the Norton Mobile Full Version working, but I needed to reset my Samsung tablet. Now the trial version is back and doesn't update to the full version.

I have oreder number.

Could you please help me to fix this issue.

Thank you,

Hi,

Thanks for your quick reply.

Just had fro less than a day. I downloaded off the Market site, installed it, upgraded to the full version and all was working OK.

I also have the Anti-Theft installed and running (both were full versions).

But I needed to reset my tablet (Sumsung GT-P7510). And then they were back to the trial versions.

I didn't know about the Tablet Security. Possible when fixing up this problem, it's a good oportunity to change to the more appropriate versions.

I send a private e-mail to Erik, following the leads on other post, with all the details, including the order number and date.

Please let me know anything you need to know,

Thanks,

Hello again lasp.

Norton Mobile Security (NMS) is really intended for use on Smartphones, when it first came out it became apparent that there were a few problems with tablet devices.  So Norton have brought out a product specifically for tablets.  That is Norton Tablet Security (NTS) which has its own forum here at:

http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Tablet-Security/bd-p/NTS

At the moment it only seems to be possible to download it in the USA but I have found that it is also available via Amazon and E-bay so you should be able to get a copy if you want.  You may even find it cheaper than the upgrade of NMS!

So what I would suggest is that you stick with your Lite Version of NMS (which still gives you most of the protection) until you can get a full copy of NTS.  If you decide to go down this route then you can get a refund from Norton for the full NMS version that you bought by contacting them and giving the details of the purchase.

While Erik is a great guy and very helpful given his position in the company it may  not be very easy for him to get you the refund but if you contact them via "Live Chat" they should be able to sort this out within minutes.  You may want to wait for a reply from Erik in case he is trying something but if you do decide to go for NTS and get a refund on NMS then "Live Chat" can be accessed free of charge over the internet at:

https://www-secure.symantec.com/norton-support/jsp/contact/contact.jsp?product=home&version=1&lg=english&ct=united%20states&ablr=1&pvid=f-home&layout=Retail&partner=&ispid=&sitename=&actstat=activated&substatus=current&ncoap=1

Sometimes this takes a while to load, just wait a moment then scroll down the page until you see the "Chat Now" button, click on that, fill in the form and you should get a helpful person who can get your money back.

Whatever you choose.  Good luck.

Hi Andmike,

Thanks again for all the info.

I think the best option is to use the TNS, I'll contact "Live Chat" to get a refund and buy a full copy of NTS.

I'll keep posting here until all is solved, as a follow-up to the community.

Good luck lasp.

We look forward to the updates and wish you well.

Once you have NTS safely loaded and have closed this thread you might like to put any further posts in that thread.

All the best.

Hi Andmike,

All sorted out. Contacted "Live CHat" explaining what happened and all went smoothly.

Now have my full version of NTS and activation code just in case I need to reset my tablet again.

Merry XMas and a Happy New Year for you all in the community... It's a good service out there.

Thank you,
