Norton mobile security - remote gps enablement

I know this request will touch on numerous security and technical hurdles, but I am going to suggest it anyway.

I have found a bit of a gap in the norton mobile security (and almost any remote location service, really) is that it is completely useless if the mobile device has GPS or location services disabled.

If I lose my phone, and did not have GPS previously enabled, locating it does nothing. If my phone is stolen, a thief may turn GPS off immediatly. If my kid fiddles with the wrong setting and loses our tablet, location does nothing.

At a minimum I would like to see the norton dashboard report back an error that the device a location was requested for does not have location features enabled differentiating between it being enabled and not being able to get location data.

Ideally I would like to see a technical solution that is an option where users could permit norton mobile security to enable the service if it is off, during a location request, so that the device can be located.
