Recently I've been unable to do a manual LiveUpdate of my NIS 21.1.0.18 (running 64-bit Win7). I saw a message on the Norton Support page about a known issue with manual updating and to try in 24 hours. After 5 days of waiting yesterday I had a chat session with Norton Support. After lots of trying they finally managed to solve the problem. It was apparently fixed by resetting the DNS, I think that means the DNS cache was cleared.
Today I again can't to a LiveUpdate. The error message is still on the Norton Support page. Does anyone when Norton are likely to fix the problem? Do I just keep resetting the DNS until its fixed. How long has this been going on?
