Are these the steps you’re using to change your Norton Password Manager password?
-------------------------------------------

To change your Norton Password Manager password, you can use either the browser extension or the mobile app, provided you know your current password or have biometric authentication set up.

Change Password via Browser Extension

  1. Open your web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.).
  2. Click the Norton Password Manager extension icon in the top-right corner of the browser.
  3. Sign in to your Norton account if you aren’t already, then click Unlock vault.
  4. Enter your current vault password (or use Passwordless Vault Unlock on your mobile device) and click Unlock.
  5. Click the Norton Password Manager extension icon again and select Open Web App.
  6. Navigate to the Settings section.
  7. Under Vault Settings, click Change my vault Password.
  8. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your new, strong password and click Save.

Change Password via Mobile App (iOS/Android)

You must have previously set up and used biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, or Fingerprint) to use this method.

  1. Open the Norton Password Manager app on your mobile device.
  2. Sign in using your biometric authentication when prompted.
  3. Tap the Menu icon, then tap Settings.
  4. Tap Reset Password (or Vault > Reset Password on some Android versions).
  5. Approve the action using your biometric sensor.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to create and confirm your new password, and enter a new password hint.
  7. Tap Reset Now or Save.

If you have forgotten your password and do not have biometric unlock set up, you will not be able to recover it due to Norton’s zero-knowledge security architecture, and your vault data may be permanently lost.
