Norton Power Eraser updated version

I've download the NPE v. 2.1.0.12, but when I try to run it I get the following error: "To scan, you must use the latest version of Norton Power Eraser. Download the latest version from the Norton Power Eraser web page. here."

I translated the error message in the screenshot.

 

When I download NPE from the link suggested in the error message I get the same error.

I have run NPE in the past successfully.

 

Can someone help me?

Did you try to download English(select English language if you are seeing localized page) version of NPE? Localized versions are not available at this moment. Term "localized" means that program language is different from English.

What version do you see(the very new is 2.5.42)?

@Nerimash When I click on your link I get redirected to the italian localized web page of NPE (v. 2.1.0.12).

 

I'm looking for a way to download latest english version.

 

Edit: I solved my issue selecting english language in top right corner of NPE web page.

I am having the same problem in Canada. I download then get the message "Sorry, you need the newest version of Norton Power  Eraser to run scans. Get the newest version of Norton Power eraser webpage here." So, i download again and this circle goes on forever. i must have six downloads and none work.

It is a possibility  that your ISP is caching an out of date version of the file. Do you still see the same issue at this point of time ?

Tried to follow the instructions to the letter.  In Step -3 there is no listing for Base  Filtering Engine. Any clues?
