Norton Preventing Connection to Company VPN - Failed Host Checking

Issue abstract: I can log in to but cannot connect to my company’s remote access server (bsp.disney.com). Until about a month ago, all was fine. In the last month, I receive the message below with an attribution to Anti-Virus program updates. I update Norton regularly.

Product & version number: Norton 360 Premium

OS details: Windows 11, 10.0 .22631

What is the error message you are seeing?

From my company’s remote access portal, “Your session could not be established due to failing host checking. We have detected an issue with your Anti-Virus program updates.”

Any ideas?

Thank you for any assistance.

If you have any supporting screenshots, please add them:

Did this issue happen to start around the time you got updated to the latest version 24 of 360? If so, your company may need to adjust their apps information to detect Norton. This has happened in the past when Norton made a major version update.

Is the Norton VPN active while trying to access the Company system? If so, turn off the Norton VPN and test.

If not, have you contacted the Company Support number listed in your image to see if they can help?
