Norton Private Browser attempting to access webcam and microphone

Issue abstract: Upon launching Norton Private Browser, Norton pops up an alert that it blocked camera/microphone access.

Detailed description: Norton considers an app/website trying to access your webcam or microphone as suspicious activity, so why does Norton Private Browser try to access? Is there no communication between the two teams? Why would the browser need access to either of those? Norton blocks it, but it’s confusing to have one Norton app block the suspicious behavior of another Norton app.

Product & version number: Norton Private Browser Version 140.0.32350.210 (Official Build) (64-bit)

OS details: Windows 11, 25H2

What website opens when you call Norton Private Browser?

fwiw ~ as I recall:
I’ve not seen “blocked camera/microphone access” pop-up upon calling Norton Private Browser.

Can you share supporting screenshot?

Maybe, my Norton 360, Norton Private Browser…W11 settings are different.
