I’ve really started to hate Norton Antivirus, and this will be the last time I renew my subscription.
I’ve been using Norton for years, but recently it has become very annoying with all the product offers, even though I keep stating that I’m not interested.
Using Norton has become a real hassle.
Is there any way to get rid of all these ads? I muted the offers, but they still keep popping up, as if I’m using freeware. What the hell is that?
you can disable it about ca 80-90% is that ok i just need to now the version you got to send the right info to you is you on the new version ore the old version

From HOME screen, select 'Settings, in left hand column (gear icon)… From the settings page that opens, select ‘Notifications’ from taskbar & select ‘Mute Special Offers’ & turn it OFF . As with previous versions, next update Norton will turn it on again
Unfortunately you can’t disable the Smart Scan ads - so would advice to ensure you only ever use other scan options.
i nerver sid you could do it complet only som of them and you cant disable that becurse els you dont has so you can scan
thank you for your response. I think the best thing to do then is to delete norton and start using something else. Anyway I don’t trust it anymore as I found two trojans swarming my laptop couple of months ago, windows defender was able to catch them whereas norton wasn’t even aware of their presence
