. Why doesn’t Norton notify you of threats until you do a full scan? I was notified of one quarantine and one removal of a threat after I did a full scan. Both said threats were resolved. I do a full scan once a week. This last time I did a full scan after 6 days. Should I be doing a full scan more frequently so I can have any threats removed and/or resolved sooner? What is the purpose of the quick scans if they don’t notify of threats and resolve them immediately?

If you have any supporting screenshots, please add them:
A quick scan looks in areas on your system that are most vulnerable on a real time basis. Memory, processes, location on the hard drive for System files. The Full scan looks at that and all other locations on your hard drive.
Was there more information on where the threats were located?
It does not matter whether you run more full scans because the real time protection features would catch any issues with a program or file when it is being accessed.
Thanks for your reply. The following are the two threats found and resolved: Trojan.cen.NPE It was removed but looking at my scan history I noticed I had this threat discovered too on 10-02-2020, and then it was quarantined. I guess it was quarantined because they had no way of removing it then. No, I have never run the Malawarebytes scan, Maybe I should run it . US.Malscripts 1 It was quarantined.
