Hello,

I’m regularly downloading CSV Files with data in order to upload them, for example, in Tax software products.
After having downloaded the file and w/o opening it, I can upload it in my Tax software. However, when I open the file before Norton reports to have removed some (potential harmful) scripts. While the file by the looks of it appears to be the same, I can’t upload it any longer.

The problem is, I don’t know how to stop Norton removing something from these files, obviously required in order to have a functioning upload process.

This has happened now with files of every source I have downloaded CSV files from.

What can I do in order to avoid this? Now I’m just trying not to open such a file by accident. But that cannot be a long term solution!

Thank you very much for any helpful proposal.
