I have decided that Norton Safe Email doesn’t work. with the 1004 scanned mail it claims to have done, says it is no hostiles. To quote Bugs Bunny, “what a maroon” I get a lot of email and for the accounts the app claims it protects, it doesn’t do squat. I have had it. Yeah, I can detect when something is awry, but I would think that this app would work. Personally I don’t think it does, it marks everything safe. No way to forward an email through the app as they missed it. It expires next year, and will not be renewed. I think I will go with just the anti-virus
I have given up on this ‘service’ in that I got a bucket load of crap mail, with links, attachments that the safe mail claimed to be safe. Fortunately I didn’t load that as when you have the subject misspelled. Customer service claims that the problem is with the Avast server and avast says it is the Norton server. then they want to access my computer with Logmein and I tell them, the issue is on their server and will they send my request to someone who can fix it. Of course they won’t. so what i am going to do is not renew anything Norton. It expires in August. Hopefully by then someone with caring feeling toward Mac, will have a real good antivirus. the other idea is just go with the antivirus and ignore this nonsense.
