Norton Safe Web False Positive Flag

Edit:
Reset to Default … now, my Norton 360 Safe Web disabled renders red X

Note: now, I need to re-create my backup set & review Settings to my preference and add my exclusions
sure would be nice if Reset to Default preserved my backup set
sure would be nice if Norton had export Settings/Exclusions

When I spoke with Norton Support, they told me to type in browser protection in the dashboard search which brought be to several options. The top on was for safe web and I was directed to just turn that off to give you an option to turn it back on. Otherwise, you would have to download the product again. But it is a pain to see the red x on the norton icon in the taskbar.

I just tested turning off/disabling Safe Web from the Manage Extensions Settings in my browser and I do not get the red X in the 360 system tray icon.

I only saw the red X when I turned off Safe Web from within the 360 app.

my Norton 360 Safe Web was working okay… but, when disabled…was not reporting red X
Reset to Default…now, my Norton 360 Safe Web when disabled reports red X

apparently, Norton 360 can break cosmetically sans notice
