Please I need some help to resolve the ownership verified step.
I followed all the steps for the website submission and the code was uploaded successfully but when I go and click on verify site ownership I get this message:
"Before we verify your ownership, you need to get auth file and put it in the root folder of your website. Click "ok" when you've completed this step"
My file with extension .html has been successfully uploaded and when I do the step of :
Step 1: Add a publicly viewable file at the root folder of your Web
site.
a) Create a file with the following file name and content: DONE
b) Add the file to the root folder of your Web site. OK
c) Verify that the file is publicly available at:
http://tennis-mind-training.com/nortonsw_e0259f30-07a4-0.html
This is OK
Step 2: Initiate the verification process
Once you have completed Step 1, please click on following link to initiate
the verification process:
http://safeweb.norton.com/site_dispute/verify_site/5193 This is where I get the error message in bold.
Step 3: Submit site re-evaluation request
After you have been verified as the owner of the Web site, you can
submit a site re-evaluation request at this link:
http://safeweb.norton.com/site_dispute/dispute/5193
