My Norton safe web extension is not working at chrome and edge as it does not show green and red icon on the search items.
If I see the red icon link, I do not click it to be safe. now no more icons (red/green)
Is it hidden by default?

Norton Safe Web extension has stopped providing the ratings to all search engines except for Norton Safe Search.
To see the green and red safety icons in your search results, you must now use the Norton Safe Search extension or search via search.norton.com. Norton has updated its policy, and the standalone Norton Safe Web extension no longer displays safety ratings directly on third-party search engines like Google, Yahoo, or Bing.
Note: “ad-blocker” can interfere with Norton’s rating icons. Try disabling “ad-blocker” temporarily to see if the search results annotations return.

I use the Norton safe search via search.norton.com and it does NOT have the green and red ticks for websites anymore. Use Windows 10 OS and have Chrome, Bing and Norton Safe Search pages - no green ticks anymore. 7 April 2026
